This platform was designed with the purpose of enabling sensorimotor representation in actively moving robots at a low cost. The smartphone-based robot serves as a valuable data collection tool, facilitating the creation of a comprehensive multi-sensory representation that incorporates vision, sound, and motor actions. In contrast to the prevailing practice of using offline databases in most deep learning applications, this platform offers an innovative online solution for gathering data from mobile robots in motion.
